Zidane wants to bring 4 world stars to Man United,

Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been linked with the Man United job for some time now.

The bookies have also dropped their odds on Zidane succeeding Jose Mourinho to as low as 7/4.

The reason for Zidane being linked with the United job is due to Man United’s poor start to the season.

The Red Devils started the season with a 2-1 win over Leicester. But they would then lose 3-2 to Brighton and get smashed 3-0 by Tottenham.

United did win their last game vs Burnley 2-0, but despite this, Zidane is still being rumoured to be taking over from Mourinho.

Zidane has even drawn up a list of players he would want to sign should he succeed Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The first name on Zidane’s list is said to be German and Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos who Zidane will know very well from his time as Real Madrid manager.

The Frenchman is also said to want both Thiago Alcántara and James Rodriguez.

However, given Rodriguez went to Bayern Munich while Zidane was in charge at Real Madrid, the Colombian may not be so keen to reunite with his former boss.

Moreover, Zidane is also said to want to bring Uruguay and PSG forward Edinson Cavani to Old Trafford.

That is, of course, if Zidane does get the United job.

Cavani has been at PSG for some time now and has racked up 248 appearances for the French outfit.

In those games, Cavani has scored an impressive 172 goals and assisted 31.
