Why Robert Lewandowski does not want to join Man United

Robert Lewandowski is not keen on a move to Man United, although an exit from Bayern Munich remains very much on the cards, according to reports in Poland.

Bayern are braced for their talismanic striker to push for a move away from the Allianz Arena, with a host of top European clubs ready to snap him up. PSG and Man United have told Bayern chiefs that they will both front up the cash to sign the Pole, should they decide to sell, however, Lewandowski’s preferred destination is Real Madrid.

Lewandowski has dreamed of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu and at 29, he feels time is running out to secure a dream transfer to the La Liga giants.

Bayern are unwilling to sell him until they sign a striker of their own, but Lewandowski has made it clear he won’t move to United. Lewandowski does not view Manchester as an attractive place to live. He does view Paris as a more viable alternative and PSG have put together the most intriguing financial package.

The opportunity to spearhead an attack that also contains Neymar and Kylian Mbappe is also very tempting for the former Borussia Dortmund forward. Lewandowski is contracted to Bayern until 2021 but his manager Niko Kovac confessed he is toying with the idea of leaving.
