Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain have opened talks with Chelsea in a bit to sign midfielder N’Golo Kante from Chelsea.

Chelsea are apparently demanding 70m pounds for Kante, who joined the Stamford Bridge club from Leicester for 30m pounds in 2016, according to the Daily Mail.

It is claimed that PSG sporting director sporting director Antero Henrique has spoken to the player's agent Karim Douis about a possible move with Kante not ruling out a return to Ligue 1.

Chelsea are apparently weighing up moves for Amadou Diawara of Napoli and Jean Michael Seri of Nice and Lyon's Tanguy Ndombele as they attempt to rebuild their midfield. 27-year-old Kante has already been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Dortmund.

The former Caen player has won the EPL and FA Cup at Chelsea over the past two seasons to go with his EPL triumph at Leicester two years ago.

Kante flew to Russia with the rest of the France squad on Sunday. They begin their World Cup campaign against Australia on Saturday in a Group C that also includes Peru and Denmark.
