Man United will demand world-record fee for Barcelona target

Man United will demand in excess of 200m pounds in order to convince them to sell midfielder Paul Pogba after his relationship with head coach Jose Mourinho took a turn for the worse.

Video footage on Wednesday showed the pair in heated discussion in training after it emerged that Pogba had been stripped as vice-captain earlier this week.

The World Cup winner has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Barcelona, PSG and Juventus all possible destinations for Pogba.

However, United will demand upwards of 200m pounds if they are to sell the 25-year-old, eclipsing Neymar’s world-record move to PSG last summer.

Mourinho feels Pogba lacks the qualities required to skipper the side after the France international criticised the Portuguese manager’s tactics following tje 1-1 draw wotj Wolves ast weekend.

The former Juventus star played no part in United’s penalty shoot-out Carabao Cup loss to Derby on Tuesday night, but has impressed when called upon this term.

Indeed, Pogba has had a direct hand in 6 goals, scoring four, in 7 EPL and Champions League appearances.
