Man United ready to sell 70m pound rated forward this summer

According to The Sun, Man United would agree a 70m pound deal for Anthony Martial this summer, with the 22-year-old having fallen out of favor with Jose Mourinho in the last 2 years.

Martial joined United from AS Monaco in 2015 and enjoyed a successful debut season under former manager Louis van Gaal, scoring and creating 26 goals in 49 games in all competition. However, he’s struggled since Mourinho took over in 2016 and has found himself out of the starting eleven as a result.

Alexis Sanchez has kept the French international on the bench and now it appears the Red Devils are open to selling Martial this summer. His exit wouldn’t go down well with supporters, however, as they believe he has the potential to become a fantastic player.

But with game time so sparse in the first team and his form being inconsistent, there’s little reason for Mourinho to want to keep him. Martial has made just 18 EPL starts this season, lasting a full 90 minutes only 5 times.

It’s clear his manager dosen’t trust him, and with plenty of interest from European giants, a deal could be agreed in the coming weeks to end his time at Old Trafford.
