Liverpool target Grzegorz Krychowiak to replace Emre Can

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has identified PSG star Grzegorz Krychowiak as a replacement for Emre Can.

The Germany international joined Juventus in July after failing to agree a new deal to stay at Anfield.

Liverpool were unsure whether Can would leave up until the week of his announcement and hadn’t made concrete plans to replace the midfielder. Krychowiak spent last season on loan at West Brom after falling out with Unai Emery during his time in Paris.

The Polish international is unwilling to return to Paris to sit on the bench and the Ligue 1 giants would rather cash in on the 28-year-old. Liverpool have already signed Naby Kieta and Fabinho to bolster their midfield but Krychowiak would be an affordable addition and would replace Can.
