Liverpool put 8 players up for sale

But Liverpool are also intent of clearing up to 8 players off their books before the season starts.

That’s according to the Mirror, who report on Liverpool’s plans to raise 100 million pounds in the transfer market.

Starting up top, both Divock Origi and Danny Ings are up for sale.

Valencia are thought to be interested in Origi, while Southampton and Newcastle are in for Ings.

Interestingly there was no mention of Daniel Sturridge being on the chopping block.

Dropping into midfield, a few wingers could also leave Anfield this summer.

Lazar Markovic has never made it since moving from Benfica. Sheyi Ojo and Ben Woodburn may also leave the Reds on loan in 2018-19.

Spanish midfielder Pedro Chiravella is a target for Nottingham Forest and Swansea. Marko Grujic could be on his way to Cardiff.

Lastly, Liverpool are set for one keeper to leave the club. That may either be Loris Karius or Simon Mignolet, but it’s unlikely to be both of them.
